Field Service Engineer
Permanent | Full Time | £40,000, potentially negotiable + company vehicle
Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a team of skilled Service Engineers, you will regularly travel to customer sites in the UK and worldwide commissioning new systems and supporting existing ones, and when not on the road you’ll support equipment build within the workshop located at the company offices in Somersham, near Cambridge. As part of our ISO9001 accreditation, ESC is committed to a documentation system which is integral to the working of the Service department and with which the successful candidate would be expected to comply.

Trainee Software Engineer
Permanent | Full Time | Approximately £27,000
Reporting to the Design Team Manager, and working closely with our Senior Software Engineer, you will assist Engineering with the following tasks :
Software – Investigate and resolve software problems in a range of technologies, Siemens and Omron PLC Ladder, C#, always working with a view to becoming a proficient Systems programmer.
Fault Diagnosis – Using Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters and PLC Software to diagnose and correct system faults.
Drawing – Reading electrical drawings.
Hardware Build – Assist in assembly of system components.
